From Jason O'Mara's personal collection is this rare Terra Nova publicity Kit was released in very limited numbers for the series premiere in 2011 but the special feature about this one is that, unlike the others, is this impressive Backpack was personally autographed by series stars Jason O’Mara, Stephen Lang, Alana Mansour, Allison Miller, Rod Hallett, Shelley Conn, Christine Adams, Naomi Scott and Simone Kessell. Jason notes..."This was a publicity package used to promote the show when it premiered in 2011. The difference here is that I asked the entire regular cast to sign mine. I don’t think there are many of these canvas promotional backpacks around, not signed by the cast anyway. In fact, this could well be the only one! So this is your chance to own this unique slice of television history. Backpacks play an important part of the story in the first episode of Terra Nova, which makes this lot even more exciting." Includes Celebrity Authentics Letter of Authenticity personally signed by Jason O'Mara verifying kit's provenance and autographs. Terra Nova documents the Shannon family's experiences as they establish themselves as members of a colony, set up 85 million years in the Earth's past, fleeing the dystopian overpopulated and hyperpolluted present of the mid-22nd century. The series is based on an idea by British writer Kelly Marcel with Steven Spielberg as executive producer. In June 2011, Terra Nova was one of eight honorees in the Most Exciting New Series category at the Critics' Choice Television Awards, voted by journalists who had seen the pilots. The Los Angeles Times wrote: "Easily the most exciting show of the fall season, Fox's Terra Nova has such obvious, instant and demographically diverse appeal." The New York Post called it "Good family fun",[75] while USA Today wrote, "What matters are the dinosaurs, who – particularly in the first hour – are as convincing and startling as TV has ever offered, roaming a gorgeous, CGI-enhanced terrain."
