From misdirection and fire-retardant to hang-gliding, Batman's Cape brought many benefits to the Caped Crusader but one feature standouts - it's menacing. The Cape used by Ben Affleck in Zach Snyder's 2016 Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice has a gritty, textured finish and now, you can be one of the very few to own a genuine piece of Batman's Production Made Cape in this beautiful display featuring a large section of Cape behind the cut out of Batman's Glyph logo! The section featuring the Cape measures approximately 8"x12" and is exquisitely presented with plaque and with an overall display size of 22"x29". Included is a Celebrity Authentics Letter of Authenticity personally hand-signed by Ben Affleck confirming provenance along with Certificate of Authenticity featuring picture of Ben signing the Letter of Authenticity. During the process of developing Batman's Cape, the Production Department produces Capes from renderings that are reviewed and, after revisions, ultimately approved for on-screen use. This lot features one of the final Cape revisions which was passed on for what appears to be a minor design or coloring update.
A Cape or any suit section from late in the approval process is extremely rare and makes an impressive display piece for the ultimate Batman collection!
